General Requirements

• Experience working in the futures trading industry.
• Support, configure, and troubleshoot windows server 2008 R2 and understand Active Directory in
• Win 2008R2 format as well as legacy windows environment.
• General system management with the ability to script for Windows and Linux/Unix. For Windows, vbs or powershell preferred. For Linux/Unix, python preferred.
• Understand Networking: Layer 2 and Layer3 on network side, Windows networking, Linux networking (Centos preferred).
• Data Center Experience. Hardware management. Rack/Stack and Cable management.
• Hands-on experience in supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting a fully deployed TT environment that starts with the user on the Xtrader frontend extending to TT Gateways (SE, Order, Price, Guardserver, RAS, RISK, WinRouter, FMDS, and FIX) facing the Exchange.
• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining a fully deployed TT environment that is connected to multiple Exchanges in multiple Datacenters and serves multiple end users at different locations.
• Experience with integrating market data from ICAP, GLOBEX, ICE, NYSE-LIFFE and EUREX into various trading systems.
• Proactively improve the performance and availability of our trading infrastructure and systems.
• Understand Network and Market Data Feed from various Exchanges and able to troubleshoot with Wireshark or other similar packet capture device on market data issues.
• Knowledge of the Exchanges and a solid understanding of clearing processes and position management applications.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Communicate on a daily basis with traders and IT staff to ensure smooth operation
• Work and problem solve in a fast-paced, innovative, hands-on environment
• Self-Starter and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks with little supervision.
